Broad-billed Roller
Geelbektroupant · Eurystomus glaucurus
A stocky cinnamon-coloured roller with a striking stubby yellow bill, arriving with the summer rains. It perches high in riverine trees and sallies out at dusk to catch flying termites and ants, often in small groups, then departs north again before winter.
