Cape White-eye

Kaapse Glasogie · Zosterops virens

A small, sociable greenish bird instantly known by the conspicuous white ring encircling each eye. It moves through trees and shrubs in chattering flocks, gleaning insects, soft fruit and nectar from the foliage. Quick and restless, white-eyes keep up constant soft contact calls and frequently join other small birds in mixed feeding parties.
