Egyptian Goose
Kolgans · Alopochen aegyptiaca
A common and noisy waterbird, the Egyptian Goose is actually more closely related to ducks than true geese. It has a buff-brown body, pink legs, and a dark chocolate patch around each eye like a mask. Pairs stay together and are very protective of their fluffy chicks, honking loudly and chasing off anything that comes too close.
