Vervet Monkey

Blouaap · Chlorocebus pygerythrus

A small, agile monkey with grey fur, a black face framed by white cheek fluff and a long tail. Vervets are quick and curious, spending much of their time in trees but coming down to feed on fruit, leaves and insects. They live in lively troops and use different alarm calls for different predators like snakes, eagles and leopards.
