White-throated Robin-Chat

An attractive robin-chat of thickets and riverine bush, orange below and on the rump with a blue-grey back, a striking black-and-white head pattern and a white throat and wing patch. It feeds quietly on the ground and in low cover, often near camps. A gifted mimic, the male weaves imitations of other birds into a rich, melodious song at dawn and dusk.
