Wire-tailed Swallow

A trim swallow with a chestnut cap, spotless white underparts and two fine wire-like tail streamers. It is closely tied to water and to bridges, where pairs build their mud nests on the underside of concrete. Unlike most swallows it is resident, staying in Kruger all winter.
