Yellow-billed Duck

Geelbekeend · Anas undulata

A medium grey-brown duck with neatly scalloped feathers and a vivid yellow bill marked by a black saddle. It dabbles at the surface and up-ends in the shallows for seeds and water plants. One of the most widespread ducks in South Africa, it is a reliable sight on Kruger's larger waters.
