Fluiteend · Dendrocygna bicolor

A warm, tawny-coloured whistling duck with a dark stripe down the hindneck and pale streaks along its flanks. It stands tall like its white-faced cousin and shares the same flute-like call, but is shyer and less common. It feeds on seeds and grasses in flooded grassland, often at dusk.
