Lesser Striped Swallow
Kleinstreepswael · Cecropis abyssinica
A richly coloured swallow with a rufous cap and rump and heavily streaked underparts. It builds a remarkable enclosed mud nest with a long entrance tunnel under bridges and eaves. Mostly a summer breeding visitor to Kruger, with only a few lingering, it largely departs for winter.
