Red-necked Falcon

A slim, fast falcon marked by a rich chestnut crown and nape, often tied to stands of tall palms where it nests and roosts. It hunts small birds at speed, frequently in cooperating pairs at dawn and dusk, and is most reliably found in Kruger's northern palm country.
