Lanner Falcon

Edelvalk · Falco biarmicus

A powerful resident falcon of open landscapes, recognised by its rusty cap and steady, controlled flight. It catches birds and small mammals, often in fast low dashes rather than the Peregrine's high-speed stoop, and pairs sometimes cooperate to flush and seize their prey.
