Sand Martin

Europese Oewerswael · Riparia riparia

A small brown martin told from the resident Brown-throated Martin by its white throat and crisp brown breast-band. It breeds in the northern hemisphere and visits Kruger only in summer, feeding low over water and reedbeds among other swallows, then departing entirely for winter.
