White-headed Vulture

A strikingly handsome and rare vulture with a clean white head, a bright orange-and-blue bill, and crisp black-and-white feathers. Unlike most vultures it often hunts live prey, snatching small animals, birds and lizards. It usually arrives at a carcass first, before the noisy crowds, then feeds quietly on its own.
